North Bay Havens Dominates Again.

Buccaneers’ vs South Walton Hawks

The North Bay Haven Academy’s Varsity softball team beat the South Walton Hawks by seventeen to two (17-2) on Friday, March 27th. The Bucs controlled the whole game and didn’t give South Walton a chance to come back.

The Bucs had a very explosive offensive they did so by the middle innings they had a large lead. This made it very hard for the South Walton Hawks to have confidents and catch back up.

Games like these really highlights the team’s ability to take control over a game and let players show off their different ability’s.

 Bucs Amazing Hits

A big part of the North Bay Haven offensive came from all the amazing hits they got and the base running from the players. This really helped turn the game around.

These players Addi Mallon, Balie Gladden, Haylee Shaw, Neveah Tarr, Shasta Butler all had a double during this game which really contributed to their win.

First Baseman McKenzie Goff had a home run, which was a big highlight of the night for her.

North Bay Haven hits helped them build up momentum and they took advantage and scored multiple runs.

North Bay Haven High IQ Plays

What was a major factor for the Bucs wins was their discipline at the plate. As a team north bay haven got 12 walks, this consistently kept putting runners on bases and made the pitcher for South Walton into difficult situations.

Like these players Baliee Gladden and Jocie Garcia showed patience by watching pitches and earning their walks, they created some scoring chance for their discipline.

In addition to their discipline, the team played very smart softball by moving runners and capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Their ability to combine their patience mix with their aggressive hits they made their offensive very effective.

Buccaneers Momentum Moving Forward

This Seventeen (17-2) victory shows their strengths of the North Bay Haven Softball team. With this win the Bucs are going to more confident coming up to the next games. I’m very excited to see them play more especially playoffs are coming soon and I just can’t wait to see how they make even more smart plays, and big hits play.

Addi Mallon made a big Contributed to this win only allowing two runs over 4 innings and just kept South Walton offensive under control.

If the Bucs can maintain this level of ball they going to keep doing great.
