Commodore Waves is a student run digital media class at Gulf Coast State College that is about online content. The students work out and take classes in the Center for Student Media, in the Advanced Technology Center.

I was born in Birmingham, AL, but I've lived in Florida since I was in kindergarten. I am an overthinker and writing has proven to be an amazing outlet for me. I enjoy writing pieces that make the reader think critically about the topic. Words are immensely important and have the power to make a significant impact.

A hopeful future sportswriter, Ben Blake is a Panama City native who specializes in his favorite sport, basketball. He has played, refereed, and even coached basketball throughout his life. Currently, Ben is writing for the Gulf Coast Commodores and their men and women's teams.

Hello. My name is Jacob Hanson (you can call me Jake if you like). I am going for my Bachelors in Digital Production at Gulf Coast State College. I like drawing, video games, and most of all, anime and manga (that's Japanese cartoons and comics for those not in the know). I have an anime review blog called "Jake's Anime Corner" where I review anime and manga that might be a little more obscure than others (So no Demon Slayer or Attack on Titan. Sorry :P).
