A little before December, SJSFGC was a bit slow but still had a great vast amount of people including competitive players, commentators, and graphic designers. They were very on and off in some times. Whilst KoldKoffee was asked upon about their activity they stated: “Yes we did not make that many moves for a while before 2024, it was a bit quiet and our players were not active as much around the time due to other fighting games coming out.” However, somebody named Ella who was in relations with a fighting game player named Hee Ho was popping in and out helping where they can and assisting in getting SJSFGC back up in gear before a tournament called Frosty Faustings.

Frosty Faustings is a major tournament that thousands among thousands of players go to gather to all fight each other in a very very huge tournament. SJSFGC was one of the big organizations that were to be heading there to play along with other big organizations, other then the tournament however: Northkid, Hee Ho, Ella, and Ryusui had other plans to take care of while being in this tournament, this was held in Chicago Illinois. Resulting in the tournament everbody played extremely well in there brackets against 719 other people!

Thanks to Ella, SJSFGC was able to plan a few things while at Frosty Faustings and gain there first ever sponsorship with a company in Indiana called Region Gaming, “This was a really great mark of progress for us and compared to other organizations we progressed fast unlike the others, I am excited to see where we move from here” – Northkid.

The way it would was that they needed to represent Region Gaming by showing the logo off by wearing the hoodie/shirt or whatever they had that had the logo of Region Gaming. In trade, They would help SJSFGC in compensation in order to make more things in the future. In addition to Region Gaming, they gained another sponsorship the next day with a group called the Popcorn Baron, they would SJSFGC by giving them around 1K for EVO in the near future. In trade, SJSFGC will be helping out the Popcorn Baron at majors in order to make popcorn for other customers. Also, SJSFGC and Popcorn Baron also had a major event called the Popcorn Bonanza which is an online bracket that was held by both parties, in trade whoever won or got top 3 in those tournaments would be rewarded with limited time popcorn. “I really enjoy doing stuff like this and I think was an absolutely great event.” – Popcorn Baron. It was a special tournament since the tournament took place in two games both Guilty Gear: Strive and Guilty Gear Xxrd.

Now currently in the present, after having all this happen within a little over a year, SJSFGC now still does brackets to this day but they’re currently inactive including its owners in order to focus on school, most of them are students in school still and are currently working on their classes.  However, a little beforehand they successfully got their jerseys manufactured and released to other players in there organization, some are still waiting but they all each like how it turns out, some were a little conflicted but did not mind it. The Popcorn Bonanza went so well that the Baron wanted to start making those tourneys Quarterly each year which was a huge success. As of right now SJSFGC rests for school and is now preparing to go on a rampage during the summer.
