An all-new month brings an action-packed list of releases for October 2022. For the month, from sequels such as Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2 and PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta 3 to new and fascinating twists with Dimps Dragon Ball: The Breakers. I’m here to highlight some of the highest anticipated games in this spotlight. Let’s get to it!
Overwatch 2 – Blizzard Entertainment
First up on the list is a highly anticipated sequel announced at BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2. The new iteration of the Overwatch franchise takes everything fans loved about its predecessor and further redefines the FPS franchise. Significant overhauls with new and different PvP modes such as Push and changes to team compositions. As well as a unique and fascinating way to explore the world of Overwatch through an all-new PvE story and character progression. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of Overwatch or a newcomer to the franchise, there will be something for everyone within the world Of Overwatch 2, releasing f2p across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 4th, 2022.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers – Dimps
Next up is an intriguing adaptation of survival game mechanics such as Dead by Daylight comes an all-new experience in the world of Dragon Ball with Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an action survival game based on surviving as a team or solo through the collection of the 7 Dragon Balls. All while being targeted by the Raider, which has many different playable iconic Dragon Ball rivals such as Frieza or Cell. DB: The Breakers has many unique ways to customize and change your playstyle through various character progression paths and special power-ups and items. The world of Dragon Ball: The Breakers comes to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One on October 14th, 2022.
Bayonetta 3 – PlatinumGames
From the developers, PlatinumGames comes the third installment to the Bayonetta franchise, Bayonetta 3. In this third installment for the hack and slash series comes a new adventure for Bayonetta and her journey to the island of Thule. During her journey, she must combat a new mysterious evil. The manufactured bioweapons are known as “Homunculi,” using her signature guns, unique time-slowing Witch Time abilities, and the aid of old and new allies. Bayonetta 3 will release on Nintendo Switch on October 28th, 2022.
