Panama City, FL – Gulf Coast State College’s public radio station, WKGC 90.7 FM, is proud to announce it will once again bring the Annual Panama City Beach Optimist Club Christmas Parade directly to listeners and viewers with a special live broadcast this year.
The much-anticipated annual event, a cherished tradition featuring marching bands, dazzling floats, festive fire trucks, and custom automobiles, is scheduled to begin at sundown (approximately 4:30 PM–4:45 PM) on Saturday, December 13. WKGC is excited to serve as the official host, providing comprehensive coverage of the holiday spectacle.
“Being the host and broadcaster for the PCB Christmas Parade allows WKGC to fulfill its core mission: connecting our community through shared, high-quality, local content,” said Ryan L. Terry, WKGC General Manager. “We look forward to spreading the Christmas spirit to everyone, whether they are watching from the parade route or tuning in from home.”
How to Watch and Listen:
Community members can easily catch the live action and commentary across multiple platforms:
• Online Streaming: Tune in live from anywhere at WKGC.org.
• Cable Television: Watch the visual broadcast on GCSC’s local access channel, GCTV, available on WOW! Cable Channel 5 and Comcast (Xfinity) Channel 6/1096.
• Radio: Listen live on the radio at 90.7 FM (or the WKGC HD streams).
