I’ve written about quite a few restaurants over this semester. Not all of them are created equal, however, and I like some of them more than others.

In this finale to the semester, I wanted to go over a few of my most favorite entries from the previous blogs and reiterate why I adore them so much. Some of these might surprise you, some definitely won’t, but let’s have a bit of fun with it anyway.

Carrabba’s

Don’t act so shocked. You knew this was going to be here.

This place remains one of my favorite restaurants in the entire beach, and likely will for the rest of time. I love the food and atmosphere, it fills me with a grand sense of nostalgia. When I was a kid, they would bring you bread dough to shape however you want, then they would bake it and bring it to you. I don’t think they do that anymore, but it was still fun while it was around.

The highlight of the entire restaurant is the Calamari. You have not lived until you’ve had some calamari from here. If you go to Carrabba’s and DON’T order any, I genuinely feel sorry for you. They’ve got the Italian options down to a T, and I highly recommend trying it out if you go to the beach.

Uncle Ernie’s

A St Andrew’s Classic, you can’t go wrong with this Bay-side view. This is one of my favorite Seafood spots around, and it being so close to the college and not beachside are both excellent pluses. I’m personally not super big on Seafood, though, but the restaurant offers a nice variety of other options, and even some great seafood dishes that someone like me wouldn’t mind trying every once in a while.

This spot also has Calamari, and although I prefer Carrabba’s, these are nothing to scoff at either. Overall, a great selection, and you’d be hard pressed to find a day where I wouldn’t want to go eat here.

Tudor’s Biscuit World

Have you ever needed a quick bite? Maybe you are going to or from college after an early morning class but haven’t had anything to eat yet? This might be the spot for you.

Biscuits. Need I say more?

Tudor’s has a great selection of Biscuit options to chose from, made with various breakfast items you can fit on a biscuit. If those don’t interest you, they have plenty of breakfast options, even including cinnamon rolls and breakfast wraps! It’s a great place for whatever early-morning foods you’re craving.

Marble Slab Creamery

Gotta round it out with Dessert.

Located in Pier Park and near front beach road, you’ve got a great selection of ice cream related sweet treats to choose from. ice cream, ice cream cakes, milkshakes, sundaes, and more. You’ve got a large variety of flavors and toppings to choose from too, with plenty of combinations to keep it fresh.

I personally am a simple man, here for the greatest sweet in the world (Chocolate), so I usually stick with a basic Chocolate shake, but Marble Slab Creamery can hook you up well if you prefer something a bit more wild and exotic.
