Variety of Creativity and Art
There are a variety of ways people are getting creative with art stuff or in general as time goes on along with technology and options grow. There are those who express their creativity through their own art style along with the way they show their process, which was mentioned in the previous posts for Art and Creativity. There are also those who express their creativity or art through other things like editing, sound designing, making videos, and/or even making custom music.
Music or sound design can be a fun, important way to express or to enhance your art design. Creating your own sounds or melody can be very technical and/or hard to do art on, but it also expands the limitless potentials and creativity of doing art, whether it’s the sound design itself or when it’s integrated into a video, imagery, or in other media or art stuff. Creativity may involve a lot of messing around and figuring out some things, in addition to some knowledge and understanding of the tools, but that’s part of the fun and creativity to doing art or art in general. There are two examples of sound designs I wanted to show for creativity and art design, which these examples are from some of my old, abandoned projects I had.
Example 1: Sound Design
For this video example, I did some sound design with one of the sounds for this melody I made for one of my abandoned projects. I wanted to show the different ways along with some fun, creative ways of doing sound design. In addition, I wanted to show how I did some audio art stuff with a sound/music program or software called FL Studio. I made this sound by using two sine waves that’s on different tunes, along with some sound editing addons like filters, delays, distortion, and a few other things. However, the main thing I was showing and messing around with was an addon called Pitchmap, which at that time I just got it and was curious about how it works and what some sounds I made will sound like.
I also made a custom visual for my Fl Studio as I wanted to have a pink, sunset theming to it.
Example 2: Creativity of Layering
Lastly, for this video, it focuses on the melody and layering aspects of getting creative in addition to sound design. This is another abandoned project I did where I wanted to try to remix another soundtrack from another Pokémon game that I played before. I did four layers where two are the same but with different wavetables or addons, the third one was a small lead to enhance the sounds or melody. Lastly, the fourth one focuses on the bass design for it, creating an interesting bass like sound when put together with the other layers of sounds. Resulting to this sound design that’s shown in the video.
Conclusion
Art doesn’t have to be just drawing to do art and/or to show creativity. There are many and endless ways to do art and to show creativity, whether it’s other hobbies like music or sound designs, playing or creating video games along with some games that have a level editor, sandbox, and/or an editor in general; or even just from the things and details in life. There are many people who shows their creativity through their talents or what do they enjoy. Even people who are not creative or aren’t good with art stuff can get creative and create art!

My interests are in art stuff, gaming, and storytelling. I am currently trying to do my major in Digital Media Production Specialization. I like to relax mostly when I get out of college, but I do like to do some gaming, art stuff, try to spend some time with friends, try to slowly make some videos and streams, and just try to enjoy life and reach the best version of me as I can possibly be. I don’t have any pets.
