Envision, rebuild, prevail
Established in 2021, the Natural Disaster Recovery Division (NDR) serves as a part of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s Facility Engineering Directorate. As a part of the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), the NDR has a responsibility to rebuild installations with a sustainable infrastructure that serves both its military and adjacent communities.
In the wake of Hurricane Michael in 2018, Tyndall Force Base (AFB) is working toward a full recovery, with some added upgrades and a mission focused in perseverance and community.
