Michelle Jones, the artist behind the upcoming art exhibit “Paradise Revisited” at Gulf Coast State College, shares her creative process and inspiration.

Michelle draws her inspiration from the Gulf Coast’s stunning and dynamic landscape. She finds herself captivated not only by its natural beauty but also by the raw intensity of the environment. It is this unique blend of lush greenery and ever-changing weather that serves as the driving force behind her latest project, “Paradise Revisited.”

When she approaches her paintings, she embraces a free-spirited mindset. Instead of meticulously planning out each brushstroke, she allows herself to get lost in the creative process, discovering the hidden gems within the chaos.

The opening reception for “Paradise Revisited” is scheduled for January 26th from 5:00 – 7:00 in the evening. The event will be held at the Ameials Center Gallery, located at the Gulf Coast State College Panama City campus. It is free and open to the public and will continue until February 23rd.

Gallery hours are Monday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
