BAY COUNTY, (WKGC) – Mike Barbour, a retired nurse and autism advocate, has partnered with Dr. Susan Balk-Kradel, a local psychiatrist, to create a new Autism Family Support Group in Bay County.

The support group aims to bring those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or ASD, and their families together to exchange advice, give support, and cultivate friendships. 

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, January 18th, at 5:30 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church of Lynn Haven, 810 Georgia Avenue. Subsequent meetings will be held monthly.
