Tom P. Haney Technical College aims to serve Bay County and the surrounding areas through career technical education. In addition, they offer a variety of Adult Education courses, ranging from traditional core classes like math and science to secondary language learning.
Originally known as the Bay County Vocational-Technical School, the institution celebrated its first graduates in 1967.

As a graduate student at the University of Florida and current Assistant Coordinator of Commodore Productions, Danie often has her nose buried in a book. She is often looking for opportunities to practice her writing by covering student projects, and promoting collegiate collaboration.
