Gulf Coast State College Amelia art center is calling for exhibition proposals with an emphasis on new and up-in-coming local artists. They are looking for new and innovative pieces that challenge the mind and inspire the viewers. Any form of art is acceptable so there is now a limit on what medium to use when creating your pieces. You may create interaction art pieces but are asked to keep Covid-19 guidelines in mind for the safety of the students and staff. The proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis for solo and group exhibitions. There are no set submission fees or deadlines but artists are invited based on merit and relevance to the art program. It can take up to sixteen weeks to review the submitted materials so make sure to give yourself ample time when proposing. There will be a 70% commission on all sales and not to mention public recognition from the college, as well as lecture and workshop opportunities. This can help open doors for employment, scholarships, and internship chances to help build your resume and gain valuable experience. Try to take your creativity to the next level and create something meaningful not only to you but to the community in your own style. The requirements for submissions are as follows:
• Printable Application or Electronic Application
• Artist statement and resume
• Up to 15 digital images of the work
• Images list including, titles, year, dimensions, and media

To enter your images electronically you can email your application pamromin@gulfcoast.edu with the images compressed in a zipped folder. You may also printout your application and put your images onto a thumb drive or burn them onto CD and mail it to:
