Press Release from Dayna Headrick
Panama City, FL — The Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) Foundation has been awarded a $7,500 grant from Tyndall Federal Credit Union through its Tyndall Cares Grant Program, supporting the ongoing work of the Gulf Coast Guarantee.
The Tyndall Cares Grant Program focuses on strengthening local communities by investing in nonprofit organizations that address critical needs in education, health and human services, and community well-being. As Tyndall Federal Credit Union celebrates its 70th anniversary, the program reflects the organization’s long-standing commitment to giving back and supporting initiatives that make a lasting difference across the Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama.
“The Gulf Coast Guarantee removes financial barriers that too often stand between students and a better future,” said Ashlin Glatthar, Executive Director of the GCSC Foundation. “Thanks to support from generous partners like Tyndall Federal Credit Union, we’ve been able to serve more than 2,700 students since 2021 and continue expanding access to opportunity.”
The grant was presented by Charlotte Schwoerer, Communications Specialist, and Anissa Ferrer, Senior Graphic Designer, both representing Tyndall Federal Credit Union.
The GCSC Foundation values its partnership with Tyndall Federal Credit Union and appreciates its continued investment in student success and the communities the College serves. Individuals and organizations interested in supporting the Gulf Coast Guarantee are encouraged to join Tyndall in helping students overcome financial barriers and pursue their academic goals.
