Why go to Gulf coast state college? That is the question most people in Bay county as themselves. Well there are many reasons to choose GCSC! First of all it has the lowest Tuition rate in Florida. That means it is the cheapest college to attend in Florida. They offers small intimate classes and so much more.

Here is why Chloe chose Gulf Coast State College, ”I wanted to move away from home a little bit but it is still close enough so I can see family and get away from the people I went to high school with.” GCSC is the great choice if you are wanting to move away from home but don’t want to move to a huge University. The college does have dorms across the street at FSU Panama City. They are available for students at both campuses. GCSC allows you to take the first steps of adulting with not a ton of stress. Whereas at a university the campuses can be huge and overwhelming, the tuition fees can be very high, and then on top of everything else you have to worry about room and board.

“I chose Gulf Coast because it is close to home and less expensive and I have heard good things about it. ” That is why Mary chose GCSC. Gulf Coast State College is the cheapest college in Florida and it has great academic resources and programs for what ever you need. The Digital Media Program offers hands on training and practical experience. The Nursing program is phenomenal and prepares the students for everything they will and can face. The class sizes are small so you get a more hands on experience compared to a university. The teacher are able to get to know you on a more personal level and you aren’t overlooked by them in a sea of students.

When asked why Olivia chose to attend GCSC she replied with, “I choose Gulf Coast because they have the lowest tuition in Florida, it is close to home, and it has the program for the career I wanted.” But what is Gulf Coast doesn’t have the program you need? Well most likely you are going to need an AA or AS degree, and GCSC is a great place to earn yours. Why, because it is less expensive, it is a smaller campus, and it is a great place to start if you don’t quite know which program you want to choose. Gulf Coast is small so you won’t have to worry about getting lost and overwhelmed. Where as a bigger campus can be hard to navigate and find classes.

All in all there are so many reasons why you should attend Gulf Coast State college! These were just a few people who have chosen to attend and there are so many more people that have similar reasons on why they chose GCSC. The tuition fees are very low, a great place to start if you don’t know what you want to do yet, and so many other reasons. You start at Gulf Coast State College so you can go anywhere!
