I have had the pleasure of working with Annie Dalbis for almost a year now at News 13. When Annie came onto the morning team, she was very eager and brought an energy that was desperately needed for our crew. No matter what happens, Annie can always be depended on. She is hardworking, consistent, and just a joy to be around. In an industry where people come and go, Annie is certainly someone you won’t forget. Not at all.

“I’m from Chicago so coming all the way to Florida was definitely a jarring experience”, said Dalbis. “I just finished my degree, needed a new start, and found this job opening on indeed.” Two months later Dalbis moved across the country and started her job at News Channel 13 as a morning producer. She was a quick learner, adapting to whatever was thrown her way. In the news business, adaptability is one of the most important skills you can have.  So much can change in a day, let alone a week. Dalbis herself explains how this week alone was a constantly evolving circuit of current events.

Although this is Annie’s first job in the television industry, she already has mastered her craft. I hope she stays at our station for years to come, but wherever she goes I know she will make the difference.
