Panama City, FL – The Business & Technology Division at Gulf Coast State College successfully hosted its Spring 2026 panel discussion, “Anchoring Growth: Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders,” on Tuesday, February 17, on the Panama City campus. The event marked the first installment of the Anchoring Growth Panel Series and drew a strong turnout of students and community leaders for an evening focused on leadership, professional growth, and local collaboration.

Students in attendance represented the Organizational Management Bachelor of Science Program, the Student Government Association Board, and The Hilton Hospitality Management and Tourism Program. Throughout the discussion, panelists were asked a variety of leadership-focused questions, offering insights on decision-making, career advancement, industry trends, and the qualities needed to lead successfully in today’s workforce.

“I really enjoyed the event,” says Culinary Management student Lisa Clinton. “Their stories of perseverance and success were inspiring and showed me what’s possible with dedication and hard work.”

The event highlighted GCSC’s commitment to connecting students with regional leaders who are shaping the future of the Gulf Coast and provided attendees with real-world perspectives they can apply to their academic and professional journeys.
