Dr. Goines , advisor and professor of the digital media program – took time to speak to me on her views of balance. She claimed she’s “not the best person to come to about this” , throughout the years and even now she remains a career woman, single mother, and student to the education system – striving to improve. She claims this is why balance is not her forte , work over rules the personal downtime. I disagreed with her take and found impiration, the ability to jungle all three and stay on top of things is considered a good personal balance. She left me with good advice and a more open mind to beating burnout.

“i don’t think i’m the best person to ask ” was her response to “how do you practice balance”. She felt her being a mom, a teacher, and reoccurring student wasn’t a great example to balanced life. the ability to successfully balance all those responsibilities says other wise. she announces the need to sacrifice certain things for the present circumstances. through the years she’s routinely made hand made weekly schedules . in this way she’s able to physically see what needs attention – she’s able to write in more details as well. balancing life comes with trial and error and the ability to continue the trial through tests and personal improvement thats balance.

my name is annika (jai) jones , i am a 2nd year digital media student . Through my journalism class I am writing about the importance of balance, personal balance . To remain objective and less opinionated I interview other people and their relations of balance to bring my point across. That balance is through well being and responsibilities.
