What to do outside of classes:

When between classes or at home students have small or even big chunks of Free time that they can do what ever they want with. whether they hang out in the Cafeteria studying or playing different kinds of games in the Game Room, to working out or doing clubs. Each person has their own vice and thing they enjoy. Since most full-time students take 12 credits, they have between 4 and 6 hours of free time per day while spending the rest doing homework. Ideally, students should spend 2 to 3 hours on their studies per credit hour per week.

Why its best to take advantage of your free time:

College students should take advantage of free time for several reasons. Firstly, college can be a busy and demanding period, so free time provides an opportunity to de-stress, relax, and recharge. This can lead to improved mental health and wellbeing. Free time can be used to pursue personal interests, hobbies, and passions. This can foster a sense of fulfillment, enhance creativity, and potentially lead to new experiences and opportunities. It can be used to develop skills, such as learning a new language, practicing a musical instrument, or improving physical fitness. These skills can be valuable in both personal and professional contexts.

How to manage your time:

College students should manage school time and free time by creating a schedule that prioritizes academic responsibilities while allowing for relaxation and fun. They should set achievable goals and avoid procrastination. Additionally, they should be mindful of their mental and physical health, getting adequate sleep, exercise, and nutrition to ensure they can maintain a healthy balance between work and play.
