The Car Community

The car community can be a great and inspiring place. Groups can be found everywhere, from online to somewhere in your local community. Wherever this place is, simply being part of it can open many opportunities for yourself and your vehicle. With people who share the same interests, new friends are just on the horizon. What’s so good about these communities is the rich diversity you can find. People from countless different backgrounds have so many stories and experiences to share. Becoming apart of these can help you grow as a person, there’s so much advice to be told that will help your vehicle become your dream vehicle. So don’t hesitate to join one, put yourself out there and get out of your comfort zone.

Facebook is a great place to find these groups, especially local ones. Theres also regular car shows that happen in this area, attending one could allow you to meet the right type of people. From there, you can increase your social circle. As scary as that might sound, I can tell you, you definitely won’t regret it. To be uncomfortable is part of the growth. So put yourself out there.

For example, Emerald Coast Cruizin just had their car show in March. With Thunder beach coming up this weekend and jeep jam in May, you will have countless opportunities to find the crowd you fit in with.

Below is an interview I conducted with Mia Miller. Although she’s from North Carolina, she visits PCB frequently. I was able to ask her some questions relating to her car, and as well as some background information on how she came to love cars.
