In Depth Custom Installs
I have focused entirely on easy and cheap installations for your vehicle. For this passage I would like to present a more elaborate option for your vehicle. Although these customizations are the next step from my previous suggestions, they are not overly complicated.
Spoilers
You most likely have seen spoilers while on the road, their name comes from their function. Spoilers disrupt the air flow around the car, this reduces pressure between the bottom and top of the car. In turn, it improves handling and reduces drag which means the engine does not have to work as hard. Spoilers are primarily seen on high-speed cars, but some choose to add them for their cosmetic look. In all, spoilers are called spoilers because they “spoil” the unfavorable air around the body of the vehicle.
Installation
Once you have your spoiler in possession, the first step to installing one is to remove the fabric board underneath your trunk door. Secondly, center your spoiler on top of your trunk. Using a leveling rod is helpful for this, it’s important for the spoiler to be centered to work properly. The third step is to remove the spoiler but leave the alignment tabs, mark them, and use a drill to create a small hole. The fourth step is to place the spoiler back on the trunk and fasten it underneath the trunk door using a screwdriver. Lastly, replace the fabric board and make sure everything is good! Voila! your car now has a spoiler.
Options
There are so many other custom modifications for your vehicles, so don’t become down in a spoiler isn’t the right thing for you. Spoilers are specifically seen on smaller cars or fast cars as I mentioned above. If your car is larger, underglows or ground effect lighting are great for any type of vehicles! Here is a short clip of a modded charger. Although this does not feature an underglow or a spoiler, it’s a great example of a personalized vehicle.
As you may have noticed, his charger was heavily modeled after a police vehicle. This goes to show how you can personally create whatever ambience and environment you want your vehicle to give off.
